This warranty reflects our confidence in the quality of our work and ensures that any installation defects will be addressed swiftly and efficiently. Below, you’ll find all the necessary details regarding the terms and conditions of our warranty.

What Our Warranty Covers

The 5-Year Warranty covers the following aspects of your fence or gate installation:

  • Structural Integrity: This covers the core structure of the fence or gate, ensuring it maintains its intended form and function without failing due to workmanship issues.
  • Installation Workmanship: We guarantee that all installation work performed by Grays Fences & Gates will meet professional standards. Any defects or issues arising from improper installation will be repaired or rectified.

Please note that this warranty is strictly limited to the workmanship of Grays Fences & Gates staff and does not cover material defects, which are handled under the supplier’s warranty. Materials used in your fence or gate, such as wood, steel, or other components, are covered by their respective manufacturers.

What Is Not Covered

While our 5-Year Warranty provides comprehensive protection, it is important to understand its limitations. The following conditions are not covered by the warranty:

  • Material Defects: Any issues related to the materials themselves (e.g., wood warping, metal corrosion) are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Natural Events: Damage caused by extreme weather conditions such as floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, or other natural events will not be covered under this warranty.
  • Third-Party Modifications: Any changes or modifications made to the installation by individuals or contractors other than Grays Fences & Gates will void this warranty. This includes adjustments, additions, or removals of any components.
  • Normal Wear and Tear: Fading, discoloration, or minor wear and tear that occurs naturally over time due to exposure to the elements will not be covered.

Warranty Conditions

To ensure the validity of your 5-Year Warranty, the following conditions must be met:

  • Regular Maintenance: The customer is responsible for performing routine maintenance to keep the fence or gate in good condition. This includes periodic cleaning, rust prevention, or treatments where applicable. Lack of proper maintenance may void the warranty.
  • Timely Issue Reporting: Any issues with the installation must be reported within 30 days of the customer first noticing the problem. Failure to report within this timeframe will void the warranty.
  • No Unauthorized Alterations: Any alterations, repairs, or adjustments carried out by parties other than Grays Fences & Gates will render the warranty void.

Final Sign-Off and Inspection

Upon completion of the installation, we conduct a final sign-off with every client. This is a crucial step where we review the work completed and address any concerns the client may have. During this process:

  • Photos of the final product are taken as a record of the installation.
  • The client has the opportunity to inspect the installation and identify any issues.
  • Important: Any concerns or defects must be raised at the time of the final review. Once the client approves the final sign-off, any subsequent changes of mind regarding the design or look of the product will not be covered by the warranty.

Making a Warranty Claim
