Blade Fencing in Australia

A steel blade fence can be configured as either flat or raked, the latter of which retains its continuous appearance on uneven ground. This is different from stepped fencing, where the fence panels drop in a series of stair-like steps. By doing so, households can save on getting retaining walls built to hold the fence.

With suburbs across Australia sitting on land of varying gradients, blade fences supplied and installed by Grays Fences & Gates are a great choice. Built with high-quality steel down to its smallest parts, this fence can withstand the elements and the test of time no matter what ground your house sits on. Frequently Asked Questions

Can I have a blade fence as a pool fence?

All our steel fencing options are pool-compliant under AS 1926.1-2012 (except for the 0.9-metre height option). Their powder coat also protects the steel from corrosion induced by water along with the galvanised layer.

Are your steel fence designs also available as gates?

Yes! We also provide the same styles to vehicular and pedestrian gates to match the fence.

Is it mandatory to follow the pool fence specs?

Yes, as you could get severely fined for non-pool-compliant fencing. In Melbourne alone, where we’re based, the penalty can reach over AUD$1,600 (as of 2024).
