Does a COLORBOND® fence need repainting?
No, at least for the first few decades. As the colour is baked into the steel (as opposed to being applied externally like powder coating), the fence is highly unlikely to chip or flake under constant sun and rain exposure. COLORBOND® fences can be repainted if you wish to change their colour, but this should be done by a professional.
